Summer vocabulary with matching definition cards and fill in the 
blank writing activity (Level 1 Pages 5-9 and Level 2 pages 10-14)

Summer synonym cards (pages 15-20).  print one mat and record sheet for each student to draw cards and match synonym cards.

Independence Day History Story Pages 21-26 (includes story comprehension questions, main idea and details, problem/ solution writing and sequencing activities)

Summer causes and effects Pages 27-29 (includes matching and writing activities)

 Print the board on page 33 for each student.  Have each student draw cards
