•Pages 3-4 Idiom sentences (read to students and use context clues to determine meaning)

•Print your choice of cards

–Color cards: pages 5-8

–Black/White cards: pages 9-12

•Laminate colored cards for durability

•Cut cards apart and have student draw cards to match idioms to meanings

•Branching strategy: Fold pages in half to hide meanings and give context clues to have students arrive at meanings.
