Believe me, Golidlocks Rocks!

Who doesn't love fairytales? Not me!  Here is a great addition to any fairytale unit.  This activity is a companion for the book "Believe me, Goldilocks Rocks!" by Nancy Loewen.  It is a wonderful, modern day version of "Goldilocks and the Three Bears".  The comparing and contrasting opportunities are endless in this unit!

The pack includes:

•Vocabulary Cards- 12 cards with 2 pages to record words and meanings
•Compare & Contrast- Compare characters from Goldilocks and the Three Bears to Goldilocks Rocks!•Same & Different- Writing activity to state similarities and differences from Goldilocks and the Three Bears to Goldilocks Rocks!•Higher-order comprehension questions- 12 “wh” comprehension questions•Cause & Effect- Match the Effect to the Cause & Writing Activity•Problems & Solution- 2 problems are given.  Students must write the solution from the book and a second solution that they would do.
•Sequencing Cards- Sequence and retell events from the book with these 12 cards (Level One & Level Two)
